Landlubber
Landlubber has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Everything it measures stays on your phone, and none of it is sent anywhere.
When you walk a drill outdoors, the app records your position so it can measure how far you finished from where you started. That is the whole point of the outdoor score. Your track is written to your phone's own storage and is never uploaded, shared or sold. The app does not request background location and cannot see where you are when it is closed.
The app reads the accelerometer to count your steps and the magnetometer to read your heading. Both are read only while a drill is on screen, and neither leaves the device.
Your last drill and whether you have purchased the full set of patterns are kept in your phone's normal app storage. Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, which also means there is nothing to restore if you delete it.
If you buy the full set of patterns, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details. The app only learns that a purchase succeeded.
Landlubber is a training aid for divers and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, changes are likely to be corrections rather than new collection.
